Wu Wei to Achieve the Ultimate Goal!

The ultimate goal is "doing without doing", or Wu Wei . This means "doing nothing". However, what is meant here is not doing nothing, relaxing or being lazy, but "action without action" or "action without effort". To reach the ultimate goal, you should start with easy and small goals. Only after you have dealt with the easy and small issues, you should gradually move on to more difficult and larger issues.

Do without doing.

Act without acting.

Enjoy the tasteless.

Treat the small as big and the few as many.

Meet evil with the power of good.

Study the difficult thing while it is still easy.

Do big things while they're small.

The most difficult tasks in the world start with the easy ones, and the greatest tasks in the world start with the small ones.

That is why the wise soul accomplishes great things without bothering about them.

Since taking things lightly devalues them and taking things easy makes them difficult, the wise soul treats the easy as if it were difficult and does not leave difficult things behind.

Lao Tzu

There are three important concepts in Qigong practice. First, the ultimate goal of Qigong practice is to reach the "Wu Wei" stage. This means "regulation without regulation" in Qigong practice. When you practice Qigong to a certain level and it becomes a daily routine, a part of your lifestyle, you will practice without even realizing it. For example, if you sit in front of a computer too often and for too long, you will often develop a deformed torso. Your torso becomes curved and your neck is stretched forward. This is very harmful because Qi can be trapped in the anterior chest area and trigger heart problems and cause heart burn. In addition, due to the congestion or stagnation of Qi in the anterior chest area, proper breathing can be hindered and diseases such as asthma or other respiratory difficulties can be caused. In addition, due to the neck being constantly stretched forward, the Qi and blood circulation from the torso to the head is interrupted. Naturally, this will also affect the normal functions of your brain.

Once you know what problems you have, you can start practicing Qigong to fix them. After you have practiced for a long time and have acquired a new healthy habit, you will no longer have to use your mind to make it happen. This is called "regulating the regulation." When you reach this stage, you will have a more powerful Qigong solution to your problem. This means that you will be practicing Qigong subconsciously. This is the ultimate goal of practicing Qigong.

The second important concept is that in order to achieve the ultimate goal of "Non-Regulation Regulation", you should start with a simple and easy practice. Only after mastering the basic skills should you move on to more difficult ones. For example, if you are practicing Qigong exercises to condition your physical body, you should be patient and progress slowly and gradually. If you try to improve too quickly, you will cause injury.

The third important concept is that you must know your problem or goal before you join Qigong practice. You must know the theory behind the practice, know your body, analyze your ability, and determine how long it will take to achieve the goal. You also need to create a plan to reach the "Unregulating Regulation" stage. For example, if you want to practice Qigong to prevent or even treat a disease, you must first know and analyze the problem and why Qigong practices will help this disease, as well as the application methods. Only with this information can you create a plan. As we all know, we are lazy. We are usually excited at the beginning of any project. However, when the honeymoon period is over, we become lazy and eventually quit. If you have a plan and have established a rule and routine, you should put a whip or reward behind you to motivate you to carry out your plan. For example, you can set a rule that instead of sitting and listening to the evening TV news, you will start waving your arms. When the news is over, you stop and without realizing it, you have practiced for thirty minutes.

The intelligent person will know himself and find the way to conquer himself. If you can do this, then you are undoubtedly a person who can maintain his commitment and succeed.

The method of reaching the ultimate goal of Qigong practice, "Wu Wei", is to progress gradually until you have formed a subconscious habit. The key to success is to know what, why and how. But the way to benefit from the key is to overcome your laziness and impatience.
